Meet Our Professional Staff 
A team of mental health professionals staff Counseling Care Associates. Our team has more than 100 years of combined professional experience. Our staff is comprised of specialists in several mental health disciplines and is capable of handling the diverse mental health needs of our clientele.


Senior Staff Therapists

Michael Pace, Ed.S, LMFT (Agency Administrator) 
Michael Pace is a graduate of Seton Hall University. He is a licensed marriage and family therapist, a certified hypnotherapist and an EMDR practitioner. Michael has counseled individuals, couples and families for more than twenty years. Michael has worked with alcoholics and co-dependents and coordinates Counseling Care Associates' outpatient program for DWl offenders. He has served as an adjunct instructor in Psychology at Bergen Community College.

William Penney, LCSW (Clinical Director)
William Penney is a licensed marriage and family therapist as well as a licensed clinical social worker. William has more than twenty years experience counseling individuals, couples and families. He has extensive experience counseling adolescents and children and has previously served as the director of a large residential treatment facility for emotionally disabled children and adolescents. Additionally, William has served as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University's graduate school for more than ten years.
 
Carmen Arlotta, Ed.S., LMFT
Carmen Arlotta has been counseling individuals, couples and families for more than 20 years. He has extensive experience working with the New Jersey State mandated DWl program. Carmen is a graduate of Seton Hall University and is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Previously, Carmen served as the director for a state funded ARC program.

Gerry Tully, Ed.S, LMFT, LCADC 
Gerry Tully is a licensed MAR/FAM therapist and a certified Alcohol & Drug counselor. He has worked extensively with a diverse population as Director of a mental health center for 15 years. A graduate of Seton Hall, he has also counseled in a drug abuse clinic for 8 years. In addition, he is a certified hypnotherapist and is trained in EMDR.

Matthew Bialkowski, LPC, LCADC
Matthew is a licensed professional counselor and a licensed certified alcohol and drug counselor with over 20 years of experience.
